The last post i made here out of a whoping 5 posts total, was in 2004. heh. oh well, i mostly just used LJ as a way of keeping tabs with old buddies anyway. that i haven't done since 2004 either though. ^^ anyway, if any of my buddies still check in on my journal or what not, hi nick!, allex!, kori!, Cory!, and a few others that have since then deleted their LJ's.

So, I’m forced, and have been for about a year and a half now, to listen to the oldies station at work. Anyway, so I’m listening to the oldies, doing my job (which consists of standing around pretending to do something important for several hours.) when I hear a song that, because I pointed it out forced all of us to now only listen to classy rock ....dear god, I need to keep my friggen mouth shut! so, my computer was screwing up hardcore...neither cd drive (dvd/cd-rw) were working and near the end my comp couldn't even find my os ..*shakes head* so, i call up a comp tech ...he drives to my house from spokane, tries everything he knows(and doesn't, i had to tell him how to do certain things..=\..) then tells me he needs to take my comp home with him to fix it..i say sure, i mean, how much more screwed could it get? ...well, about 5 hours later he's back, he's got my dvd drive going but not the burner, apparently the plug for my cd drives on the mother board is burnt out and i'd either need a new mother board or a pci card(so i can just by-pass it completely) ...so i think, alright, thats fine, i'll deal with that. well, i had to put my os back on...i use my system recovery disks and what happens? well somehow, on a drive that usually has about 30 gb on it, it ran out of room to put my os on...*arches eyebrow* now how is that possible?...so, i have to control-alt-delete a few times, close a few "welcome to windows" things just to get in to see what the problem is...apperently my 'c:" drive has only 1.99gb and my 17gb drive 'd:' is missing completely...*pulls out hair* ..so, i call this guy leave him a casual "get your ass back here" voice mail and he doesn't call back. two hours later i leave a very pissy voice mail and then he finally calls back...says he'll come to my apt today at 9am to fix the damage free of charge. so i call him at 9am to ask him where he is, he doesn't answer. call again at 9:30am, still doesn't answer..finally at 10:15am he calls back saying he slept in and he'll be at my apt as soon as my classes are done and before i have to go to work(1pm-2:15pm)...and i swear if he isn't there at that time, or doesn't get it working TONIGHT, i'm going to rip his intestines out threw his nose then shove them back up his arse. .....i need sleep...guess i'll get to my psych. class and take a quick 50min cat nap.
